Dr Ashish Verma

Dr. Ashish Verma is currently serving as Professor and Dean at the School of Law, IMS Unison University, Dehradun. Previously, he held key academic and administrative positions, including Professor and Associate Dean at the School of Law and Justice, Adamas University, Kolkata, and Associate Professor of Law at the School of Law, University of Petroleum & Energy Studies (UPES), Dehradun. He has also served as the Head of the Department of Law and Social Sciences at UPES. 

Dr. Verma has successfully completed a one-week industry attachment program with the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC), New Delhi, and has led a government-funded project on Gender Budgeting for the State of Uttarakhand. 

Recognized as a distinguished academician and industry trainer, Dr. Verma is frequently invited as a resource person for national and international seminars, conferences, workshops, and Faculty Development Programs. He has conducted specialized training sessions for professionals from prominent organizations such as Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL), Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), among others, primarily focusing on Energy Laws and Environmental Laws. 

An expert in dispute resolution, Dr. Verma is a professionally trained mediator with international credentials. He was an active member of the University Societal Interventions Team from 2017 to 2021, during which he contributed to the rehabilitation and capacity-building of inmates at Dehradun Central Jail. His initiatives included organizing training sessions and enhancing prison library resources, as part of a broader societal engagement and reintegration program. 

Dr. Rashmi T. Dubey

Dr. Rashmi T. Dubey is an Assistant Professor of Law at Bharati Vidyapeeth’s New Law College, Pune, with over a decade of academic experience and four years of court practice. She holds a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence in the context of IPR and Cyber Laws and is widely recognized for her interdisciplinary research in law and emerging technologies. 

As Faculty In-Charge of the Law Artigence Cell (AI Cell), Dr. Dubey has led several initiatives on AI and legal education, including faculty training programs and academic collaborations. She is a frequent guest speaker at seminars and conferences on AI and Law, and actively promotes scholarly engagement through research calls and mentoring. 

Her core areas of expertise include Cyberlaw, Intellectual Property Rights, International Business Law, and the legal implications of Artificial Intelligence. Dr. Dubey continues to contribute to legal academia through teaching, research, and innovation in law-tech integration. 

Dr. Foram Patel

Dr. Foram Patel is an accomplished academician serving as Assistant Professor at the Institute of Law, Nirma University, Ahmedabad. She holds a Ph.D. in law and brings expertise in Constitutional Law, Media Laws, and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR). Her academic and research interests lie in examining the interplay between fundamental rights, media freedom, and mechanisms for peaceful dispute resolution. 

As the Head of the Centre for ADR at the Institute, Dr. Patel has been instrumental in designing and executing skill-based programs, national workshops, and student training modules focused on arbitration, mediation, and negotiation. She actively mentors law students in national and international ADR competitions and works to bridge the gap between academic learning and professional dispute resolution practices. 

Dr. Patel’s teaching style reflects a deep commitment to critical legal thought and experiential learning. She regularly contributes to academic discourse through research publications, conferences, and collaborative legal projects, thereby promoting innovation in legal education and dispute resolution frameworks in India. 

Dr. Udit Raj Sharma

Dr. Udit Raj Sharma is an Assistant Professor (Selection Grade) at the School of Law, UPES Dehradun, with over five years of experience in legal academia. He completed his B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) with a specialization in Energy Laws from UPES and pursued his LL.M. from the Indian Law Institute (ILI), New Delhi. 

His academic and research interests lie primarily in Criminal Law, Animal Law, Energy Law, and broader areas of Public Law. Dr. Sharma is known for his passion for teaching and legal research, with a growing publication profile. He serves as an honorary member of the Centre for Criminology and Victimology at RGNUL, Patiala, and is a peer reviewer for the ILI Law Review. 

Deeply engaged in interdisciplinary and policy-relevant research, Dr. Sharma continues to contribute to contemporary debates in constitutional governance, criminal justice, and environmental law. 

Mrs. Jeffy Jacob

Ms. Jeffy Alice Jacob is an Assistant Professor at ILS Law College, Pune, specializing in International Law. She holds an LL.M. in International Law and has qualified the UGC-NET. Her academic interests include Public International Law, International Environmental Law, Disability Law, and International Migration Law. 

With two years of teaching experience, she combines academic knowledge with a practical understanding of global legal issues. She is committed to fostering critical thinking and interdisciplinary research in international legal studies, particularly in areas involving human rights and environmental justice. Ms. Jacob continues to contribute to legal education through her focused teaching and research in emerging global issues.
